Brief Biographies of Aaron, Andrew, Markel and Willard.
Aaron Kidd plays guitar for the group, and is a talented singer. He usually sings lead, but also sings harmony.
He is the President of the Youth Alive Club at Hurricane High School, and is actively involved in the TARS, and runs the site
for the club at www.hurricanetars.org
Andrew Kidd is the banjo player for the group. He is quite accomplished, and in this year alone he won 4th place
in the Vandalia Music Festival's Banjo Contest, and won 1st place in the Clay County Golden Delicious Apple Festival's Banjo
Contest. Andrew attends Hurricane High School with his brother Aaron.
Markel Fertig is the bass player for the group, as well as the baritone and bass singer. Markel was Aaron and Andrew's
6th grade English teacher, and still teaches at Hurricane Middle School. Markel is known by many people in the bluegrass
world as a very accomplished bassist, and continues to be a huge addition and encouragement.
Willard Reynolds is the mandolin player for the group, and sings tenor. He is a retired librarian who is an great
mandolin picker who has played with many groups. He is one of the finest pickers around, and always ready to play
music.
